In pursuit of a more perfect union, or at least a civil holiday dinner, a room filled with historians and educators looked to the past for clues to improve the present and future discourse during a program titled “Imperfectly Civil.”
Hosted by the New Jersey Historical Commission, RevolutionNJ and the Eagleton Institute of Politics, the program tied the history of politics and civics in New Jersey with the current state of our democratic government and republican values.
