Center for Public Interest Polling Rutgers-Eagleton/SSRS Garden State Panel Available for Research Needs

Want to ask New Jerseyans a question? The Rutgers-Eagleton/SSRS Garden State Panel is the largest probability-based opinion-sharing platform in New Jersey and is available to support research needs. It is comprised of a representative group of panelists, adults aged 18 or older, randomly selected throughout New Jersey who have agreed to share their opinions through surveys.

The highly experienced team at the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling stands ready to support both data collection and client analytic needs.

Women in the 119th Congress: By the Numbers with CAWP

For the first time since 2011, the number of women serving in Congress will decline as a result of November congressional elections, according to the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP), a unit of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University. In 2025, 150 women will serve in Congress, fewer than the 151 who were serving as of Election Day 2024.

Lee Miringoff, Ashley Koning and David Paleologos were among a half-dozen pollsters who graded this year’s performance between A- and C+.

“We still obviously have challenges,” said Ashley Koning, the director of the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling at Rutgers University. “The issues we’ve been seeing, are they because of Trump, or is it something bigger? Have we entered some kind of new era of polling?”

The Rutgers-Eagleton Washington Internship Award offers up to $6,000 to outstanding Rutgers University undergraduate students from all campuses, majors, and classes interested in completing a summer internship in D.C. in a government, advocacy, or nonprofit placement.
